چکیده
In this paper, an optimization tool based on a MILP model to support the teaching assignment process is proposed. It considers not only hierarchical issues among lecturers but also their preferences teach particular subject, non-regular time schedules throughout academic year, different type of credits, number groups and other specific characteristics. Besides, it adds restrictions compatibility subjects, lecturers’ availability, maximum subjects per lecturer, subject as well minimum saturation level for each all them in order increase quality. Schedules heterogeneity features regarding operation some universities justify usefulness since no study that deals with has been found literature review. Model validation performed two real data sets collected from one year schedule at Spanish University Universitat Politècnica de València.

Nitrogen (N) in plants is generally diagnosed by a soil test and plant tissue analysis. However, such analyses are costly in terms of time and money and are not easily accessible byresearchers and extension workers, let alone farmers. Alternative cost-effective methods arerequired for rapid analysis of the N status of crops and to guide N management in wheat. Theobjective of this study was to as...

Managing products’ end-of-life and recovery of used products is gaining significant importance during last years. Therefore, managing the reverse flow of products can be an important potential for winning consumers in future competitive markets. In this context, establishing reverse logistics networks is becoming a main problem in reverse supply chains. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is utilized to s...
متن کاملA Compromise Decision-making Model for Multi-objective Large-scale Programming Problems with a Block Angular Structure under Uncertainty
This paper proposes a compromise model, based on the technique for order preference through similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) methodology, to solve the multi-objective large-scale linear programming (MOLSLP) problems with block angular structure involving fuzzy parameters. The problem involves fuzzy parameters in the objective functions and constraints. This compromise programming method is ba...
